Students will explore the rise of gaming's influential presence through strategic business principles and real-world examples from industry giants like Nintendo, Blizzard Entertainment, and Riot Games. Through engaging weekly assignments and a final project analyzing global perspectives on games or esports, students gain essential skills and strategic insights, preparing them to confidently navigate the evolving intersection of business, gaming, and esports.

Lecturer Profile

Joseph Cha is a curriculum developer and instructional designer at Gen.G, with a Masters in Education from Western Governors University and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of California, San Diego. He was also the co-founder of Prepable Learning and authored a book on AP Biology. Joseph has also created over ten curriculums for various institutions with a student-centric focus and has helped students overcome many educational challenges. Joseph’s experience and work in educational programming throughout California and Asia have provided him with a comprehensive understanding of effective learning design.
